Frequently Asked Questions
Lesson FAQs
Should I sign up for the 55 or 30 minute lesson?
55 minutes is a great length of time for any student to maximize singing time. 30 minutes is a more compact experience if you are short on time!
Should I sign up for monthly or a la carte lessons?
Once you have had an introductory lesson, you may decide you want to purchase by the month. A la carte is best for those who are unsure of their schedules or wish to take lessons more infrequently. Paying by month is the equivalent of 4 lessons a month. For some months that will equal 5 and for some that will equal 3, depending on the month, so it balances out. With the monthly package, you will be allowed 1 makeup session per 6 months. Meaning if you miss a lesson without notice, you will receive 1 free makeup lesson.
Am I too old to take voice lessons?
Not at all! Jennifer has a lot of experience working with older adults. If you are interested in learning, you are never too old to sing.
Do you teach young students?
While I primarily teach adults, sometimes I have space to accept younger students. If you have a student between 13 and 18 years old who is serious about their music making, please reach out to see if we are a good fit!
When do I pay you?
All lessons are to be paid for up front. Monthly packages are due at time of purchase. A la carte lessons are due at the time of scheduling through Calendly.
Do you teach in person?
Currently all lessons will be taking place online. Virtual lessons negate the challenge of finding in person space to teach and offer more flexibility for both student and teacher! All lessons take place over Zoom or farplay.
